It is through Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, that we can "return unto the Lord". By aligning our self with the Christ within we can humbly receive His Mercy and "He will abundantly pardon". Then we can begin to think and act in ways that please God. Then His Will will be done and His Kingdom will come. Or, we can wait and squander our time, living our ego centered lives, and one day it will be too late. Then, when we seek the Lord, He will not be near and He will not be found. Hence, "Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near".
